Michigan Traveling Nurse Still Missing After California Hiking Trip

Ann Herford, a traveling nurse from Michigan, has been missing since November 15 after she was last seen hiking on the Arnold Rim Trail in Calaveras County, California. Search efforts involving 120 searchers, five canine teams, neighborhood canvassing, and aircraft are ongoing. Herford's family stated that she enjoyed hiking but did not have wilderness survival skills and never planned on walking more than a couple of miles at a time. Authorities are urging anyone with information about her location to contact the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.
