Firefighters make progress containing wildfires in Texas counties

A wildfire near Lefors, Texas has burned 1,295 acres and is currently 35% contained. Residents were initially asked to evacuate but have since been allowed to return home. Three abandoned structures were destroyed, but no injuries have been reported. The fire came close to some homes, but firefighters were able to save them. The Office of Emergency Management expects the fire to be fully contained by tomorrow.
