Governor Stitt Urges State of Emergency in 10 Oklahoma Counties.

Governor Kevin Stitt has called for a State of Emergency in ten Oklahoma counties following recent storms that caused damage to public buildings, infrastructure, and utilities. The state has been fielding requests for power generation for water and waste treatment plants, and the Public Service Company of Oklahoma has reported more than 2,700 power crews working around the clock on restoration. The State is also working with local gas supply companies to supply generators to ensure a stable gas supply. The State of Emergency will remain in effect for 30 days.
