Power Outages Sweep West Maui, Olinda-Piʻiholo, and Molokaʻi Amidst High Winds

Thousands of customers in West Maui and parts of Upcountry, Maui, have experienced power outages due to high winds. Hawaiian Electric crews are working to restore power by repairing downed power poles and lines in affected areas. The public is advised to stay away from downed power lines and report them immediately. Some road closures have been implemented due to downed power poles.
