Iowa Philanthropist and Entrepreneur John Pappajohn Passes Away at 94

John Pappajohn, a prominent venture capitalist, philanthropist, and art collector, has died at the age of 94. He and his wife created the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park, one of the most remarkable collections of its kind, and donated millions to various educational and medical institutions in Iowa. Pappajohn was also a successful investor in medical technology and helped establish entrepreneurial centers at five Iowa colleges. He hoped to make Iowa a better place for entrepreneurs and startups.
