An inert Cold War-era Douglas AIR-2 Genie rocket, designed to carry a nuclear warhead, was found in the garage of a deceased resident in Bellevue, Washington. The rocket, purchased at an estate sale, had no warhead or rocket fuel, posing no explosive hazard. The item was left with a neighbor to be restored for display in a museum, as the military did not request it back.
