"Vermin High: Rats Feasting on Marijuana in Louisiana Police Evidence Room"
TL;DR
Police in New Orleans are seeking funding to move into new premises after an infestation of rats and cockroaches in their current building, including an evidence room break-in by rats that resulted in marijuana being eaten. The move would leave behind other tenants in the aging complex, which has been plagued by maintenance issues. This incident is not the first time rodents have targeted drugs in police premises, with similar cases reported in India and Argentina in recent years.
