Authorities have announced the security perimeters and demonstration areas for the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee from July 15-18. The "hard zone" will require credentials and encompass key venues, while a "vehicle screening perimeter" will surround it. Designated protest areas and a march route have been established, but the inclusion of Pere Marquette Park in the restricted zone has sparked controversy and a lawsuit from the ACLU. Additional restrictions will be in place around Maier Festival Park and the Milwaukee River.
