The Biden administration has given tentative approval to New York's congestion pricing plan, which would impose a toll on drivers entering Manhattan during peak traffic hours. The plan is expected to go into effect in the second quarter of 2024, pending a 30-day public review period. However, North Jersey Democrats have criticized the plan, calling it unfair and essentially a tax on Jersey drivers.
