Biden and Trump to Meet at White House for Historic Transition
TL;DR
President Joe Biden is set to host former President Donald Trump at the White House to symbolize the peaceful transfer of power, a gesture Trump did not extend to Biden in 2020. This meeting marks Trump's first return to the White House since his electoral defeat. The event underscores Biden's commitment to a smooth transition, despite Trump's previous refusal to concede the election results. Vice President-elect JD Vance's participation remains uncertain, and Melania Trump is not expected to attend.
