Border Crisis Continues as DHS Secretary Parties with MSNBC Executives.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas attended a dinner party with MSNBC honchos to celebrate Jen Psaki's new show, while one of his top deputies, Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, declared the situation along the southern border a "crisis" at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing. Ortiz also contradicted Mayorkas' prior claims that the Department of Homeland Security has operational control of the border. Mayorkas recently said the goal is to achieve operational control of the border, but Ortiz used the word "crisis" to describe the massive influx of migrants encountered at the border in recent years.
