The two met privately for nearly 90 minutes, discussing plans for the transfer of power and the future of the city. Johnson plans to unite and bring people together, ending the divisive nature that has separated communities. Since his victory, Johnson has been busy with calls to leaders in the business community and plans for an $800 million tax hike. The meeting was originally scheduled to last 45 minutes but went twice as long.
