Democratic Reps. Jamaal Bowman and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called on indicted Republican Rep. George Santos to resign on the Capitol steps, while Santos pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds, and making false statements to Congress. Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene chanted to "impeach Biden" and argued with Bowman about gun control and closing the border. The Democratic resolution to oust Santos from Congress was referred to the House Ethics Committee.
