"DeSantis' Presidential Prospects Questioned by AOC and Polls"

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said on Sunday that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would be a weaker contender than former President Donald Trump in a potential GOP presidential matchup. She criticized DeSantis for trying to "out-Trump Trump" and making critical errors, including attacks on teachers, schools, and LGBT Americans. Ocasio-Cortez also said that DeSantis has not shown that he's more rational than Trump. While Trump is currently leading DeSantis among GOP voters in the polls, a recent NBC poll shows that the gap is closing. However, 60% of Americans, including a third of Republicans, don't want Trump to run in 2024.
