Dual US-Saudi Citizen Freed from Saudi Prison for Critical Tweets.

Saudi Arabia has released US-Saudi dual national Saad Ibrahim Almadi from prison after he was arrested for tweets critical of the kingdom. Almadi was given a 16-year sentence for tweets critical of the Saudi government. He was released under a travel ban and it remains unclear whether the kingdom would lift the ban to allow Almadi to return to the US. Almadi's release was welcomed by a Washington-based advocacy group, The Freedom Initiative.
