Expanding Charges in Trump's Mar-a-Lago Classified Documents Case

Special counsel Jack Smith has brought additional charges against former President Donald Trump, his aide Walt Nauta, and Mar-a-Lago maintenance worker Carlos De Oliveira in the case involving mishandling of classified documents. Trump and Nauta had previously been charged and pleaded not guilty. De Oliveira, who helped Nauta move boxes of classified documents, was added to the case. The Justice Department believes that government records were likely concealed and removed from a storage room at Mar-a-Lago. Trump's spokesman dismissed the charges as a desperate attempt by the Biden administration to harass the former president.
