Trump was indicted by a New York grand jury last week, becoming the first former president in U.S. history to be criminally charged. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been investigating alleged falsified business records connected to the payment. Trump is expected to appear in court in Manhattan on Tuesday.
