Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg has been released from jail after serving 100 days of his five-month sentence for his involvement in a 15-year tax fraud scheme at the company. Weisselberg pleaded guilty to all 15 charges he faced and paid $2 million in taxes, penalties, and interest. He testified at last year's trial of the Trump Organization, which was also charged with the tax fraud scheme and fined $1.6 million. Weisselberg was also involved in the hush money arrangement behind the criminal charges recently filed by Manhattan prosecutors against Trump, but he is not charged in that case. He remains a defendant in the New York Attorney General's $250 million civil lawsuit.
