TL;DR

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was recently murdered, with most Republicans supporting it and some Ohio Democrats opposing it due to concerns over Kirk's controversial record and language in the resolution. The vote highlighted political divisions, especially among members of the Congressional Black Caucus, regarding how Kirk's legacy and the issue of political violence are addressed.
