House GOP subpoenas former prosecutor in Trump case probe.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has issued a subpoena to former New York County Special Assistant District Attorney Mark Pomerantz, who led an investigation into Donald Trump's finances, to testify in the committee's investigation into Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's prosecution of Trump. Jordan argues that Pomerantz's book and media interviews have already revealed much of the information the committee is seeking. Jordan also contends that Pomerantz's book "reveals the extent" to which the indictment of Trump by Bragg "appears to have been politically motivated."
