Idaho enacts controversial laws on abortion and gender-affirming care.

Idaho Governor Brad Little has signed a bill into law that makes it illegal for adults to help minors cross state lines to receive an abortion without parental consent. The law considers such assistance as "trafficking" and is punishable by up to five years in prison. This is the first law to restrict interstate travel to obtain an abortion since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last June.
