Manhattan DA sues GOP Rep. Jordan over Trump case interference.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has filed a legal suit against House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, alleging that Jordan and his colleagues are engaged in a "brazen and unconstitutional attack" on an ongoing New York State criminal prosecution. Bragg is seeking the invalidation of present and future subpoenas, contending that Congress has no legitimate authority to make such demands regarding a criminal case at the state level. Jordan and his allies insist that the charges against former President Trump are politically motivated. The Judiciary Committee is holding a field hearing in New York City on Monday to examine crime rates and pin at least some of the blame on Bragg.
