Manhattan Prosecutors Close in on Trump's Legal Woes.

Stormy Daniels, the porn actor who was paid hush money on behalf of former President Donald Trump, met with prosecutors investigating the matter. Michael Cohen, the former Trump attorney who orchestrated the payment, was also giving testimony before a grand jury. Daniels answered questions from Manhattan prosecutors and is willing to be a witness. Cohen said he would continue to provide prosecutors with any information they need. The $130,000 payment was made in 2016, as Trump’s first presidential campaign was in its final weeks and Daniels was negotiating to go on television to air her claims of a sexual encounter with him a decade earlier.
