Marjorie Taylor Greene silenced in committee for calling officials 'liars'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was silenced by a House committee after accusing Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of being a liar during his congressional testimony. Democrats sought to strike remarks made by Greene at the hearing, one in which she accused a Democratic member of having an extramarital affair. The only bipartisan agreement came when she called Mayorkas "a liar." Greene was prohibited from speaking further but was not kicked out of the hearing.
