"Minnesota's New State Flag Design Unveiled, Tweaks Expected"

The State Emblems Redesign Commission in Minnesota has advanced a new design for the state flag, subject to fine-tuning. The design, created by Luverne resident Andrew Prekker, features a blocky figure of Minnesota and an eight-point North Star. The panel is expected to continue working on color and other details before finalizing the design. The new flag is set to replace the current one in May, unless legislative action prevents it. The commission has until the end of the year to select a new state flag and seal.
