"MTG and Bowman's Capitol Encounter Sparks Controversy"

Rep. Jamaal Bowman criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for her "reckless" and "dangerous" remarks after an encounter they had on the steps of the Capitol. Bowman accused Greene of putting him in danger with her remarks and playing on racist tropes that demonized Black men. Greene had said she felt "threatened" by Bowman and accused him of having a "history of aggression." The exchange happened after Bowman and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez interrupted Rep. George Santos responding to questions from reporters. Greene said Bowman led a "mob" when she went to New York to protest the indictment of former President Trump.
