Newsom Roars Back After Trump's Davos Meltdown
TL;DR
California Governor Gavin Newsom publicly celebrated Donald Trump's Davos meltdown, tweeting “Rent free” after Trump attacked him for attending a World Economic Forum session. Newsom had been denied entry to the U.S. pavilion and later criticized Trump in an interview, calling his administration authoritarian. Trump responded with a lengthy Truth Social post, telling Newsom to finish his term and go home, as the feud fuels speculation about Newsom's possible 2028 presidential run.
