TL;DR

Rep. Elise Stefanik criticized Gov. Kathy Hochul for endorsing Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, calling Hochul the 'worst governor in America' and opposing her support for a candidate with progressive policies. Hochul's endorsement came ahead of the NYC mayoral election, where Mamdani leads in polls, and Stefanik is expected to challenge Hochul in next year's governor race.
