"Oregon's Wealthiest Back Effort to Recriminalize Drugs"

A coalition of powerful business and political leaders in Oregon, including some of the state's wealthiest residents, are pushing for new ballot measures to "fix" the voter-approved drug decriminalization effort known as Measure 110. The proposed measures would prohibit the use of hard drugs in certain spaces and make the possession of small amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin illegal again. They would also require mandatory addiction treatment and increase penalties for drug dealing.
