Paul Vallas Gains Support from Chicago's Latino Community in Mayoral Race

A poll of registered voters in Chicago's mayoral race shows that Latino voters are more likely to support moderate Democrat Paul Vallas than progressive Democrat Brandon Johnson, with 42% of Latinos supporting Vallas compared to 31% supporting Johnson. However, more than a quarter of Latinos are still undecided. The race is currently tied at 40% for each candidate, with 20% of voters undecided. The issue of race is a defining factor in the tight runoff election in one of the nation's most segregated cities.
