TL;DR

Former Vice President Mike Pence declined to call on Donald Trump to drop out of the presidential race if he is indicted next week, saying the decision is Trump's to make. Pence also criticized Trump's actions on Jan. 6, 2021, and pushed back against potential rival Gov. Ron DeSantis for calling Russia's invasion of Ukraine a "territorial dispute." Pence's appearance at the Cheshire County Republican dinner marked his first trip this year back to the first-in-the-nation GOP primary state.
