"Protesters Flood Milwaukee Streets as RNC Kicks Off"
TL;DR
Progressive activists gathered outside the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee to protest against Donald Trump and the Republican agenda, despite heavy security and a smaller-than-expected turnout. The demonstrators represented over 120 causes, with a strong anti-Trump message, and expressed discontent with both major political parties. Organizers aimed to raise public awareness and prepare for further protests at the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
