Rubio criticizes House GOP's indifference towards senators' opinions on their affairs

Senator Marco Rubio stated in an interview that House Republicans do not care about the opinions of Senators regarding their ongoing struggle to select a Speaker of the House. Rubio emphasized the importance of having a Speaker in place to conduct legislative business and mentioned the looming government shutdown deadline. However, he stated that he has no intention of intervening in the process and hopes that the House will be able to work through it on their own.
