Secret Service Agents Testify in Trump Documents Probe.

The Secret Service is expected to deliver former President Donald Trump to a New York City courtroom to be arraigned on state charges tied to hush money payments made in the weeks before the 2016 election. The last time Secret Service agents escorted a U.S. leader to face criminal charges was in 1973 when Vice President Spiro Agnew appeared in a federal courtroom to enter a plea and resign from office. The agents allowed their admiration of Agnew to get in the way of properly doing their jobs, and they kept the mission a secret even from their own bosses.
