Security briefing held ahead of Trump arraignment amidst protests and political tensions.

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and New York Rep. George Santos protested against the indictment of former President Donald Trump outside the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse. Greene called for a peaceful protest against the "persecution of an innocent man," while Santos criticized the indictment as a bad day for democracy. Nearly 300 people turned out to protest Trump's indictment, with nearly 150 counter-protesters also on the scene. NYPD escorted Greene out after she was swarmed by conservative members. Trump is set to be arraigned Tuesday following his indictment over alleged hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.
