Sen. Tim Scott to Launch Presidential Exploratory Committee for 2024 GOP Bid

Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) is expected to announce the formation of a presidential exploratory committee on Wednesday, inching him closer to officially entering the GOP presidential race. If he does enter, he would join a crowded field that includes former Gov. Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, conservative entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former President Donald Trump. Scott's announcement comes as he embarks on trips to Iowa and New Hampshire, two early-primary states.
