Tennessee GOP leader resigns over workplace harassment.

Tennessee state Rep. Scotty Campbell, a Republican, resigned from the General Assembly after an ethics subcommittee found he had violated a workplace discrimination and harassment policy. The subcommittee memo was addressed to House Speaker Cameron Sexton on March 29. Campbell had initially refused to step down from his Republican caucus leadership position over the violation. The resignation comes after the expulsion of three Democratic lawmakers who broke House rules to briefly lead a gun reform protest on the House floor.
