Texas Proposes Land for Trump's Deportation Facilities

The state of Texas has offered thousands of acres to Donald Trump for the construction of deportation facilities, as part of a plan to support his immigration crackdown promises. Texas land commissioner Dawn Buckingham has proposed using 1,402 acres in Starr County for this purpose, following the state's purchase of 355,000 acres, including the Brewster Ranch. This move aligns with Trump's plans to declare a national emergency and activate the military for mass deportations, with former ICE director Tom Homan appointed as border czar to lead the efforts.
