TikTok's Influence on Young Americans' Views on Gaza and Biden's Israel Problem

Senator John Fetterman suggests that young Americans' negative views on President Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas War may be influenced by what they see on TikTok. A New York Times/Sienna College poll found that nearly 75% of young voters disapprove of Biden's response, with a similar percentage believing that Israel isn't doing enough to prevent civilian casualties. Fetterman, who supports Israel, was unable to explain the pronounced age gap on this issue but speculated that TikTok may provide a warped perspective. He emphasized that Hamas started the conflict and Israel desires peace but cannot achieve it as long as Hamas exists.
