Trump Co-Defendants Surrender Ahead of Fulton County Deadline

Two co-defendants of former President Donald Trump in the Fulton County case, Scott Hall and John Eastman, have surrendered to authorities, becoming the first to do so out of the 19 people charged for alleged efforts to reverse the outcome of the 2020 election. Hall, a bail bondsman, and Eastman, a conservative attorney, were eligible for bond. The indictment accuses Trump and the others of participating in a "criminal enterprise" to overturn his electoral loss in Georgia. Trump is set to surrender on Thursday. Two other defendants, Jeffrey Clark and David Shafer, are seeking to move their cases to federal court.
