A Fox News survey shows that former President Donald Trump has a 30-point lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis among Republican primary voters nationwide, with 54% support compared to DeSantis' 24%. The poll was conducted after Trump claimed he would be arrested by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, which helped him gain support among Republican primary voters who view the case as politically motivated. Meanwhile, a majority of Democratic primary voters would prefer someone other than President Biden to be their party’s 2024 nominee, with 52% wanting somebody else and only 44% supporting Biden.
