Trump's accounts on three major social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, have now been restored ahead of the 2024 election. YouTube said the decision was made after evaluating the risk of real-world violence and balancing the chance for voters to hear equally from major national candidates. Trump has also posted on Facebook for the first time since January 2021.
