Trump Refuses to Testify in New York Civil Trial.

Former President Donald Trump rejected the opportunity to testify at a civil trial where E. Jean Carroll has accused him of raping her in a luxury department store dressing room in 1996. Trump was given until 5 p.m. Sunday by U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan to file a request to testify, but nothing was filed. The trial will continue with closing arguments on Monday, and deliberations likely to begin on Tuesday.
