Trump's Controversial Cabinet Choices Raise Eyebrows
TL;DR
President-elect Donald Trump's unconventional Cabinet picks, including controversial figures like Rep. Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth, are stirring debate in Washington. Trump's strategy appears to involve shaking up the political landscape and potentially bypassing Senate confirmation through recess appointments. This approach has raised concerns among some Republicans about the balance of power and the role of the Senate in confirming appointments. Trump's selections, including the creation of a new 'Department of Government Efficiency' led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, signal a push to reshape federal bureaucracy.
