Trump's Lawyers Resign Shortly After Indictment

Two lawyers, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, have resigned from former President Donald Trump's legal team just a day after he was indicted on federal charges related to his handling of classified information. They will no longer represent him on either the indicted case or the January 6 investigation. Trump thanked them for their work but said they were up against a "very dishonest, corrupt, evil, and 'sick' group of people." Timothy Parlatore, another lawyer who left the team, blamed Boris Epshteyn for creating discord within the group. The 37-count indictment against Trump alleges that he shared classified documents with unauthorized persons on two separate occasions.
