West Virginia State Legislature Endorses Trump with 50 Votes.

Nearly half of the West Virginia state legislature, including 40 Delegates and 10 Senators, have signed a letter endorsing Donald Trump in the Republican primary for the 2024 election. Trump won the state of West Virginia in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections and remains popular there. The letter was organized by Delegate Josh Holstein and constitutes slightly less than half of the Republicans serving in the W.V. capitol. The West Virginia primary takes place on May 14, 2024.
