Sub expert raised concerns before 2023 Titan submersible incident.

A submersible expert who rode the Titan in 2019 has revealed that he raised safety concerns to the vessel's CEO, Stockton Rush, after hearing loud noises during the trip. Karl Stanley sent an email to Rush, warning him of suspected defects in the vessel. Rush did not respond in writing, but Stanley believes that Rush rebuilt the vessel using the same material Boeing uses to build their planes. The Titan imploded on its way to the Titanic wreck, killing all five passengers on board. The implosion is currently under investigation by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and US Coast Guard.
