Racial tensions escalate as black fisherman faces persistent questioning from white neighbors

Anthony Gibson, a Black fisherman in Georgia, has been repeatedly confronted by white neighbors in his community who question his presence and demand his address while he fishes. Gibson began recording these encounters and posting them on TikTok, leading to the firing of one resident who confronted him. Other Black residents in the community have also reported facing harassment. The homeowners association claims fishing is allowed with a permit, but Gibson continues to face unwarranted scrutiny and calls to the police. Gibson's concern for his family's safety has grown, and he no longer feels comfortable fishing in his own neighborhood.
