Dodgers receive backlash for rescinding LGBTQ group's invitation to Pride Night.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have uninvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group of queer and trans nuns, from their 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night next month after receiving complaints from Catholic organizations and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio. The Sisters were going to be honored with the team’s Community Hero Award. The move has garnered praise from critics, but the Sisters and others criticized the Dodgers for “succumbing to pressure from persons outside of the State of California and outside of our community.”
