Violence and Protests Continue at Glendale School Board Meetings

Violence erupted at a Glendale school board meeting as protesters clashed over the handling of LGBTQ issues. Riot police officers were seen rushing towards a small group of brawlers in the crowd of several hundred people. Men were also seen yelling slurs and expletives at a pro-LGBTQ demonstrator. The scenes were a more contained replay of what happened two weeks ago as the school board was set to vote on recognizing June as Pride month. It was not immediately clear if there were arrests or injuries from Tuesday night’s confrontation.
